Gujarat: Bhupendra Patel takes oath as Chief Minister, big change before assembly elections

Important changes have taken place in Gujarat before the assembly elections to be held next year. On Monday, Bhupendra Patel took oath as the Chief Minister of the state. His name was stamped only on Sunday. After the resignation of Vijay Rupani, the party had stamped the name of Bhupendra Patel. Right now only Bhupendra Patel has taken oath, there has been no change in the cabinet.

Bhupendra Patel was sworn in as the Chief Minister (CM) in a program at the Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar on Monday. During this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Khattar, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai were also present in the program.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the new Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel by tweeting.

MLA for the first time and now directly CM

Bhupendra Patel has become the 17th Chief Minister of Gujarat, he is an MLA from Ghatlodia assembly seat of Gujarat. 59-year-old Bhupendra Patel had become an MLA for the first time and has now gone straight to the chief minister’s post. Bhupendra Patel is also an MLA from the seat which fell vacant after Anandiben Patel became the governor. This seat comes under the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat, from where Amit Shah is an MP.

The family got to know the news after watching TV

Bhupendra Patel’s name was shocking to everyone. Because before the BJP legislature party, the name of Bhupendra Patel was not among those who were being speculated. On the previous day, he had participated in a tree plantation program in his area. According to the family, they also got to know about this news only through TV which was surprising.

BJP’s move before assembly elections

Assembly elections are to be held in the state next year, in such a situation, BJP took this step to remove the anger of the public towards Vijay Rupani. Along with this, an attempt was made to remove the resentment of the Patidar community. BJP has changed its chief ministers in three-four states in the last few days.

However, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel was said to be angry with Bhupendra Patel becoming the Chief Minister. Because twice he kept on becoming the Chief Minister. But later he himself said that he has no grudge against anyone.
