The BCCI has informed in its website that the IPL Media Rights Tender for the 2023-2027 cycle will be floated immediately after the appointment of two new IPL teams, which will be announced on 25 October 2021. A decision regarding this was taken in the IPL Governing Council. For the first time in IPL, two league matches will be played together. The afternoon and evening matches will not be played separately on the last day of league matches before the playoffs. There is a separate time for double headers for two matches in a day but this time it will not be there for the last two matches. BCCI has given this information. It is worth mentioning that BCCI had not made any such announcement at the time of announcing the IPL schedule, but this time this unique program has been released by the BCCI. The last two league matches will be played on October 8. According to Indian time, these matches will be played at 7.30 pm.
