He has said that he wanted to be a journalist rather than an actor.
Jackie’s ‘The Interview: Night Of 26/11’ to release on Saturday
Jackie’s new film ‘The Interview: Night of 26/11’ released on Saturday. Jackie is seen in the lead role in this film along with actress Anjum Nair.
Jackie’s film is a Hindi remake of the superhit Dutch film ‘The Interview’. In this film, he has appeared in the role of a war correspondent.
While talking about this film, Jackie told Bollywood Hungama that he wanted to become a journalist.
Answering this question, Jackie revealed
Actor Jackie was asked whether he had taken any reference points for playing a journalist in the film.
To this he replied, “No, there was no such reference point. In fact my father was a journalist and he used to write for Blitz, which was a tabloid. I always wanted to be a journalist and for that I did. applied as well.”
Jackie got a press card
Jackie said that his father had told him that he would have to work in a newspaper to become a journalist. He was advised to write an article every week.
He said that he had also got a press card for this work. This was the reason why he was very excited for his role in the film ‘The Interview: Night of 26/11’.
