UP Election 2022 Date In Hindi: How many seats in how many districts in each phase?

Voting in Uttar Pradesh will be held in 7 phases from February 10 to March 7, the Election Commission announced today

The first phase will start on February 10, the second on February 14, the third on February 20, the fourth on February 23, the fifth on February 27.

Voting will be held in 7 phases in Uttar Pradesh, from February 10 to March 7, The Election Commission of India (ECI) said on Saturday as it addressed a press conference to announce the schedule of assembly elections in five states, including UP .

Voting in the maximum 60-60 seats in the fourth and fifth phases

  • In the first phase, elections will be held in these 11 districts.
  • Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Noida, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra. 
  • In the second phase, votes will be cast in these nine districts.
  • Saharanpur, Budaun, Bijnor, Amroha, Sambhal, Rampur, Moradabad, Shahjahanpur and Bareilly.  
  • Voting in these 16 districts in the third phase
  • Kasganj, Etah, Hathras, Mainpuri, Firozabad, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Auraiya, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and Etawah.
  • Polling in these nine districts in the fourth phase
  • Pilibhit, Lakhmipur Kheri, Hardoi, Sitapur, Unnao, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Banda, Fatehpur.

  • Voting in these 11 districts in the fifth phase 
  • Bahraich, Shravasti, Barabanki, Gonda, Amethi, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh
  • Elections will be held here in the sixth phase
  • Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Ambedkar Nagar, Deoria, Ballia, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar.
  • Voting in 54 seats of these nine districts in the seventh phase
  • Azamgarh, Varanasi, Mau, Ghazipur, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Sonbhadra, Bhadohi and Jaunpur.

The second to sixth round of polling in the state will be held on February 14, 20, 23, 27 and March 3 respectively.

The notification for the first phase will be issued on January 14, while the last date for filing nominations is January 21. Scrutiny of nominations will take place on January 24, while the last date for withdrawal of nominations is January 27.
